What will I learn during the PADI Underwater Digital Photography Course?
The PADI Underwater Digital Photography Course is an introduction to digital underwater photography centered around today's point-and-shoot digital cameras.
The course is primarily for those interested in learning the basics of digital underwater photography. Develop the knowledge, skills and practical techniques necessary to obtain excellent photographs with a digital camera, even on your first photo dive.
Learn what equipment you need to take great underwater photographs, how to prepare an Underwater photo system and try out basic Underwater photo techniques whilst diving in an environmentally friendly manner.
You'll also look at file formats, resolution settings, making images lighter or darker, getting good color, photo composition, downloading photographs to a computer and adjusting them to look their best.
As an optional extra to the PADI Speciality Underwater Photographer Course, you can participate in an introduction to Photoshop still image editing techniques. Gain hands on experience cropping and adjusting colour, contrast, levels, hue and saturation so you can adjust your images to perfection. We'll happily give you advice on how to take the next steps once you've completed the course.
